Despite being a member of the Brontes gang, Vynn doesn’t seem to be bound by any sort of allegiance. His freedom is most important to him, and he often works with different gangs temporarily should they pay enough. Seeing as he hasn’t been kicked out of Brontes, it’s most likely that this was a special prior arrangement made with his Warlord.
